We don’t start a new year by trying harder — we start by remembering who Jesus is and what He’s done.

As we begin 2026, we gather around God’s Word and the Lord’s Table to recenter, realign, and renew our commitment to Christ. On the first livestream of the new year — and the first communion of the month — we remember Jesus, His sacrifice, and the life He calls us to live.

📖 Today’s Word:

Matthew 5:1–26
Jesus opens the Sermon on the Mount by redefining what it means to live a truly blessed life. He calls us beyond outward behavior to heart-level righteousness — a life shaped by humility, mercy, reconciliation, and trust in God.

Psalms 5:1–12
A prayer of morning dependence and confidence. David reminds us that the day begins best when we bring our hearts honestly before God and trust Him as our refuge, guide, and protector.

Proverbs 1:24–27
A sobering reminder of the importance of listening to wisdom while it’s offered. This passage invites us to choose humility, responsiveness, and reverence — especially as we step into a new season.

At the start of each month, we pause to take communion together — not to try harder, but to remember Jesus, realign our hearts, and anchor our lives in grace.
