Jesus once said, “Freely you have received; freely give.”
Today’s readings challenge our assumptions about value, success, generosity, and what truly matters. What if the most important things in life—grace, love, forgiveness, purpose—were never meant to be bought, earned, or sold?
Let’s explore what it really means to live with open hands and open hearts.
📖 Today’s Word:
Matthew 10:1–23
Jesus sends out His disciples and tells them to give freely what they’ve received. He warns them that following Him won’t always be easy—but it will be meaningful. This passage shows us that God’s gifts are not commodities; they’re meant to be shared, not hoarded.
Psalm 12:1–8
A cry for truth in a world full of deception. David reminds us that God’s words are pure, trustworthy, and protective—unlike the empty promises of the world. True value isn’t found in status or speech, but in God’s faithfulness.
Proverbs 3:13–15
Wisdom is described as more valuable than silver or gold. This passage reframes what “wealth” really is, showing us that understanding, discernment, and a life aligned with God are worth more than anything money can buy.

The world teaches us to measure life by profit, success, and possessions.
Jesus teaches us to measure life by grace, generosity, and faithfulness.
