So often, God is at work right in front of us… and we don’t even realize it. Today’s passages invite us to slow down, open our eyes, and recognize God’s activity—especially when it doesn’t look the way we expected.
📖 Today’s Word:
Matthew 17:10–27
Jesus helps His disciples understand how God fulfills His purposes in unexpected ways. They missed what God was doing with John the Baptist because they were expecting something different. This passage reminds us that spiritual power comes from dependence on God, not self-effort, and that God provides—even in the ordinary details of life—when we trust Him.
Psalm 22:1–18
This psalm gives voice to deep suffering, confusion, and feelings of abandonment—yet it also points to trust in God amid pain. It reminds us that even when God feels distant, He is still present and working. What feels like silence may actually be part of a greater story God is writing.
Proverbs 5:7–14
These verses warn us about the cost of ignoring wisdom and drifting away from God’s ways. They show how missing God’s guidance can lead to regret—but also how listening early can protect our hearts, relationships, and lives.

What if we’re not waiting on God—but God is already moving, and we’re missing it?
