What if the very thing you’re trying to avoid is the place where God wants to meet you most?

In today’s episode of The Good Morning Show – Finding Life LIVE!, we look at Jesus in Gethsemane — facing betrayal, anguish, and the cross — and choosing surrender over escape. When hardship feels overwhelming and there seems to be a way out, how do we know whether to run… or to trust?

📖 Today’s Word:

Matthew 26:14–46
From Judas’ betrayal to the Garden of Gethsemane, we witness the raw humanity of Jesus. He prays honestly, wrestles deeply, and ultimately submits to the Father’s will. This passage reminds us that obedience doesn’t eliminate difficulty — but it does anchor us in purpose.

Psalm 31:19–24
A psalm of trust in the middle of trouble. David declares the goodness of God even while surrounded by adversity. A powerful reminder to “be strong and take heart” when waiting on the Lord.

Proverbs 8:14–26
Wisdom speaks of her presence before creation, revealing that God’s wisdom is ancient, steady, and foundational. When we face hard decisions, we are invited to walk in wisdom rather than impulse.

Escape may offer relief — but surrender produces growth
Obedience often requires courage, not comfort
God’s wisdom guides us through what we’d rather avoid
