Join us as we interact and lay the foundation for LIFE in God's Word β€” a short daily reading of New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs.

What If Your Greatest Need Isn’t What You Think?

In today’s live stream, we explore a powerful moment in the life of Jesus that challenges our assumptions about what we really need.

In Mark 1:29–2:12, Jesus heals many β€” but when a paralyzed man is lowered through the roof, He does something unexpected. Before addressing the man’s physical condition, Jesus forgives his sins. Why? Because sometimes our deepest need isn’t what we think it is. Jesus reveals that spiritual healing is greater than physical healing β€” and eternal matters more than temporary.

In Psalm 35:17–28, David cries out for deliverance from injustice and opposition. It’s a raw prayer from someone who feels attacked and misunderstood. Yet even in distress, David commits to praising God publicly. The psalm reminds us that our need for rescue often leads us back to dependence on God.

In Proverbs 9:13–18, we see a contrast between wisdom and folly. Folly offers what looks appealing on the surface β€” but leads to destruction. It’s a sobering reminder that what we want and what we truly need are not always the same.

Together, these passages challenge us to ask:
What if Jesus is addressing something deeper in your life right now?

Let’s start our week by aligning our hearts with what matters most.

Please note, there are 2 parts to Finding Life:
1. Faith Foundation - laying the foundation for life in God's Word
2. Practical Path - living out God's truth - being a good steward of all God gives us - living life well - living life true to who God created us to be

What life did God create YOU to live?

Who did God create you to be?

Why did God create you?

Let's SEEK GOD, FIND LIFE, and LIVE LIFE. β˜οΈβ˜€οΈπŸŒ±πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘‰
