What if everything weβve been taught about greatness is backwards?
In todayβs reading, Jesus completely redefines what it means to become great. While the world teaches us to climb higher, gain recognition, and seek position, Jesus reveals that true greatness is found through humility, service, surrender, and faith.

As Jesus journeys toward the cross, His disciples pursue status and greatness. Jesus teaches that greatness in Godβs kingdom comes not from power or position, but from serving others. The healing of blind Bartimaeus beautifully demonstrates true spiritual sight, humility, and faith.
π Psalm 45:1β17
A royal psalm celebrating a righteous king and his eternal reign. Christians have long understood this passage as pointing forward to Christ, the true King whose rule is marked by righteousness, beauty, and everlasting joy.
πΏ Proverbs 10:22
A reminder that true blessing comes from the Lord. Godβs blessing enriches life without adding sorrow, showing that lasting greatness flows from Godβs favor rather than human striving.
